Teaching fail 😊
Have you ever thought you were doing such a great job of something, only to find out you missed a particularly important step in the teaching process? Well this week we got to experience one of those fabulous oooopppsssses that make you laugh and ponder the necessity of including all the details.
We have been so proud of Miss Lilli. She loves to help and putting the dishes away out of the dishwasher is her current favorite chore. She does very well for a three-year-old.
Just call her, “Lilli, time to put away the dishes” and she is right there. “Sure grandma, I do it.”
Well, last week her mommy notices that someone is putting dirty dishes in the cupboard. She is wondering if one of the older kids might be trying to get out of doing dishes by sticking them back in the cupboard.
Then this weekend after dinner I tell the kids to clear their plates off the table so we can clean the table to play a game. I turn around and there is Miss Lilli taking her dirty dishes from the table and putting them in the cupboard with the clean dishes.
Oooopppps . . . grandma forgot to clarify that the clean dishes from the dishwasher go in the cupboard and the dirty dishes from the table go in the sink.
Gotta say, I do love these dishes. We got them on Amazon here.
